I do….

Today I went to my nephew’s wedding, the eldest son of my sister. She has 3 kids and all 3 have married within 15 months. It’s a strange feeling watching someone you have known from the day they were born take a partner and do “grown up stuff, makes you feel very old. The ceremony was beautiful and their personal vows made me cry. It was held at Montselvat, an artist colony in Eltham, set in beautiful gardens. The thing about weddings though is you always eat and drink too much. After the ceremony, there were nibbles and drinks whilst their photos were being taken; a selection of mushroom quiche, spring rolls and tiny petit fours. Later came a wonderful three course dinner. The cake was set out on the table with coffee after the main meal so we all presumed that was dessert and helped ourselves. But no, dessert then appeared! Consequently we are all now extremely full; diet day tomorrow! I do love a wedding and watching two people embark on their life journey together. I hope all their hopes and dreams are realised…
“May your life together be full of love and your love be full of life.”
