There are not enough hours in the week for me to enjoy all my hobbies. Mundane tasks such as washing, ironing, cleaning and feeding the family, and over course work, all rudely need to be completed before I can have any “me time”, and then it’s a tough choice as to what I will do. Reading is a passion I usually save for when I’m in bed, so most times I multi task and watch tv while I craft, either knitting or my creating my latest love, beading peyote bracelets. This entails threading delicate beads on to a needle in pairs, then creating a contrasting silver or gold border, and finally adding the magnetic clasps to enable the bracelet to be fastened. They are easy to make but quite time consuming and I am relatively time poor! Then of course I have my games on my iPad; candy crush, words with friends, bejewelled blitz and my latest hobby, Hay Day where I enjoy farming with one of my boys. It is quite therapeutic and lots of fun, but again it eats into the time clock!
Of course I also have my homework – a post to write for the daily prompt every day. All I can say is it’s lucky I work part time and not full time!
