One of my favorite places to be is at the beach. I can sit for hours, just looking out at the vast expanse of ocean and contemplating life. In Winter the waves crash into shore and fierce grey clouds scuttle overhead. In Summer the sea lies tranquil, sparkling in the bright sunlight under a crystal blue sky. At night, the beach seems not to be of this world, ethereal and almost threatening, just a slight shimmer of moonlight illuminating the inky blackness. The waves pound on the sand but can’t be seen, and a galaxy of stars twinkle in the heavens above. Whatever the time, to be at the beach gives me a sense of peace and well being; a place where I go to solve the problems in my world…
