Mean what you say and say what you mean…

“Like a beautifully brightly colored flower without fragrance, is the well- spoken word without action.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
Some people know all the right things to say, but like the beautiful flower with no scent, their beauty has no depth if they do not really mean what they say.
You are what you do, not what you say you will do. You should never make promises unless you intend keeping them and never say anything unless you mean it. You can say sorry a million times, say I love you as much as you want, say whatever you want, whenever you want. But if you aren’t going to prove that the things that you say are true, then don’t say anything at all, because if you can’t show it, your words don’t mean a thing. Don’t say sorry unless you really mean it and don’t forgive if your not ready to move past it. Actions will always prove why words mean nothing. It is far better to say less and mean more. Give me straight forward people any day; I may not always like what they say, but I will always know their words are truth. There is always a little truth behind every “just joking”, a little knowledge behind “I don’t know” a little emotion behind every “I don’t care”, and a little pain behind every “it’s okay”. One day you will be just a memory for some people. Do your best to be a good one…

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.”
Dr Seuss
