Trust is like a piece of paper; once it’s crumpled it can’t be perfect again. You can flatten the paper out and try to make it as you want, but it will never be flawless again. The happiest relationships are built on a solid foundation of implicit trust; it is more important than love and in fact will enhance your love. A relationship without trust is like a car without petrol, you can stay in it as long as you like, but it won’t go anywhere. A perfect relationship is not defined by love, but by freedom; freedom to allow each person to be themselves and when you come together, be the perfect whole. If you are lucky like me, you will find that one special person who is unlike any other. You can talk to them for hours and never get bored; you can tell them things and not be judged. They are your soulmate, and your best friend and whatever you do NEVER LET THEM GO! It is not about not having problems because problems are always going to happen, just as life does, but rather about being able to face and overcome them together. Trust is a vital element of any relationship and I trust my husband with my life.
A happy marriage is not based on how many years you have been together, it is about how much you love each other every day.
“The couples that are meant to be are the ones who go through everything that’s designed to tear them apart and come out even stronger. ”
“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, and always with the same person.”
