One sunny Saturday morning in Hobart, Tasmania. The Salamanca Market was buzzing with life. The stallholders brimming with their wares and produce. I meandered ever so slowly from stall to stall, enjoying what they had on offer. The picturesque harbourside view lay closeby in the background and enhanced the magic of the setting. I suddenly came across a stall of thick woollen socks, an array of rich warm colours. Sitting in the middle was a sock creature, with big red lips, smiling widely to the customers. I silently wished he was for sale & asked the stall-keeper if he was. Alas, the answer was “sorry no”, he was the friendly mascot & order-keeper of the socks!
