Baby blur…

My definition of blur is ” the first 6 weeks of my twins’ lives. You think you are ready for your little treasures to enter your world but no one can explain to you just how much your life will be turned upside down. To those who haven’t entered parenthood, it seems incomprehensible that such a tiny being will need that much time and attention; after all, don’t they sleep for most of the day?

Reality- there isn’t enough hours in the day to care for them, do all that needs to be done and catch up on much needed sleep.
I remember having to write feeding and changing times down; trying to function whilst sleep deprived.. I was living in a fog and it took some time before I established a routine and felt human again!!!
